ABOUT THE JOURNAL OF SOCIOLOGY AND PSYCHOLOGY

 

History & Mission

The Journal of Sociology and Psychology was established through the merger of the Vietnam Journal of Sociology (with over 40 years of development) and the Journal of Psychology (with nearly 30 years of history). The Journal is managed by the Institute of Sociology and Psychology. As a prestigious academic forum, the Journal focuses on publishing in-depth scientific research in sociology, psychology, and related fields such as educational sciences, educational management, and social work.

Aims & Scope

To publish and introduce domestic and international scientific research findings in sociology and psychology.

To disseminate the guidelines and policies of the State regarding social development management and the psychological well-being of the Vietnamese people in the context of innovation and international integration.

To apply sociological and psychological knowledge across various sectors of social life.

Operations & Publications

The Journal operates under License No. 115/GP-BVHTTDL issued by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism on August 29, 2025. The Journal currently releases three main publications:

Editorial Board & Peer Review

The Editorial Board consists of 15 leading domestic and international experts, supported by a dedicated team of experienced scientific contributors. All manuscripts submitted to the Journal undergo a double-blind peer review process to ensure scientific quality, objectivity, and academic excellence in all published works.
