ABOUT THE JOURNAL OF SOCIOLOGY AND PSYCHOLOGY
History & Mission
The Journal of Sociology and Psychology was established through the merger of the Vietnam Journal of Sociology (with over 40 years of history) and the Journal of Psychology (with nearly 30 years of history). The Journal is managed by the Institute of Sociology and Psychology. With the mission of becoming a prestigious academic forum, the Journal focuses on publishing in-depth scientific research in the fields of sociology, psychology, and related disciplines such as educational sciences, educational management, and social work.
Aims & Scope
1
To publish and introduce scientific research findings in sociology and psychology from both domestic and international sources.

To disseminate the perspectives, guidelines, and policies of the Party and State regarding social development management and the psychology of Vietnamese people in the context of innovation and international integration.
3
To apply sociological and psychological knowledge to various sectors of social life.
Operations & Publications
The Journal operates under License No. 115/GP-BVHTTDL issued by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on August 29, 2025. Currently, the Journal publishes three editions:

Editorial Board & Peer Review
The Editorial Board consists of 17 distinguished domestic and international experts. Additionally, the editorial process is supported by a team of experienced scientists and collaborators. All manuscripts submitted to the Journal undergo a double-blind peer review process to ensure scientific quality, objectivity, and academic standards for all published works.
