Nghiên cứu năng lực cảm xúc - xã hội của giáo viên đang được các nhà khoa học trên thế giới quan tâm bởi nó có ảnh hưởng lớn đến sức khỏe tâm thần và sự hài lòng trong công việc. Hiện tại, nước ta chưa có nghiên cứu nào về năng lực cảm xúc - xã hội của giáo viên công tác ở các cơ sở giáo dục phổ thông. Do đó, trên cơ sở đề xuất mô hình nghiên cứu cấu trúc năng lực cảm xúc - xã hội của giáo viên, chúng tôi tiến hành xây dựng bộ công cụ đo lường năng lực cảm xúc - xã hội. Trên dữ liệu thu được từ 246 giáo viên đang công tác tại tỉnh Bình Dương, kết quả của kỹ thuật phân tích nhân tố khám phá (EFA) và phân tích nhân tố khẳng định (CFA) đã chứng minh độ tin cậy và độ hiệu lực của bộ công cụ là phù hợp để đánh giá năng lực cảm xúc - xã hội trên nhóm khách thể này.
