Application of People-centered, Comprehensive, Global, Inclusive, and Sustainable Development Approaches in Social Development Management: Experiences of the Federal Republic of Germany and Implications for Vietnam

Abstract

This article focuses on clarifying the theoretical content and practical application of the integrated use of five approaches - people-centered, comprehensive, global, inclusive, and sustainable - in social development management in the Federal Republic of Germany; thereby generalising and drawing out core lessons learned. The research findings indicate that these lessons are reflected not only at the level of specific policies, but also in the German model of social development management through the integrated and coherent application of universal approaches and inclusive institutions for sustainable social development governance. From this perspective, the author identifies and analyses implications for Vietnam in the new era of development, particularly in key aspects such as: the requirement for profound institutional reform, enhancement of governance capacity, assurance of equity, and the consolidation of social trust.
