Những yếu tố ảnh hưởng đến năng lực thông tin sức khỏe về sa sút trí tuệ ở nhóm trung niên đô thị Hà Nội và Huế

Nghiên cứu này hướng đến làm rõ thực trạng năng lực thông tin sức khỏe về sa sút trí tuệ ở người trung niên trong cộng đồng đô thị tại Hà Nội và Huế. Tổng cộng 258 người trung niên tuổi từ 40 đến 59 tại Hà Nội và Huế đã tham gia phỏng vấn bằng bảng hỏi. Kết quả nghiên cứu cho thấy, người trung niên có năng lực thông tin sức khỏe về sa sút trí tuệ ở mức độ trung bình (M = 1.71, SD = 1.25, trên thang điểm từ 0 đến 3). Năng lực này có xu hướng cao hơn ở nhóm những người có trình độ học vấn cao, có quen biết ai đó mắc sa sút trí tuệ, và khoảng cách từ nhà tới cơ sở y tế xa hơn, nhưng lại thấp hơn ở nhóm người có lo lắng về tuổi già cao. Ngoài ra, năng lực này cũng có sự khác biệt có ý nghĩa thống kê giữa hai nhóm dân cư ở hai địa bàn Hà Nội và Huế. Những kết quả bước đầu này đóng góp vào mở rộng những nghiên cứu tiếp theo để cung cấp thêm bằng chứng cho việc xây dựng và phát triển các chương trình giáo dục cộng đồng nhằm nâng cao năng lực thông tin sức khỏe về sa sút trí tuệ, qua đó thúc đẩy việc phòng ngừa sa sút trí tuệ, sàng lọc sớm và điều trị sa sút trí tuệ trong cộng đồng.
