Năng lực cảm xúc - xã hội của giáo viên đóng vai trò then chốt đối với chất lượng lớp học, sự an lạc nghề nghiệp của giáo viên và các kết quả phát triển của trẻ. Tuy vậy, các công cụ đo lường đã được thẩm định về mặt văn hóa dành cho giáo viên mầm non tại Việt Nam vẫn còn hạn chế. Nghiên cứu này nhằm thích nghi và đánh giá các đặc tính tâm trắc của thang đánh giá đa chiều năng lực cảm xúc - xã hội của giáo viên (Multidimensional Assessment of Teacher Social-Emotional Competence - MATSEC) của nhóm tác giả Lee và cộng sự (2025) để sử dụng cho giáo viên mầm non Việt Nam. Mẫu nghiên cứu gồm 942 giáo viên mầm non đến từ ba miền hoàn thành phiên bản thang đo đã được dịch thông qua quy trình dịch xuôi - dịch ngược chuẩn hóa và phản biện của chuyên gia. Một loạt phân tích nhân tố khẳng định (CFA) được tiến hành nhằm kiểm định giá trị cấu trúc, tiếp theo là các kiểm định bất biến đo lường và độ tin cậy. Kết quả ủng hộ mô hình sáu nhân tố có tương quan với 25 mục được giữ lại (CFI = 0,939; RMSEA = 0,07; SRMR = 0,02), cho thấy độ nhất quán nội tại cao (α = 0,93-0,98) và tính bất biến theo độ tuổi và khu vực địa lý. Tất cả các thành phần của năng lực cảm xúc - xã hội đều dự báo có ý nghĩa thống kê đối với mức độ hài lòng với cuộc sống (p < 0,001), trong đó Tự quản lý là yếu tố dự báo mạnh nhất. Những phát hiện này cung cấp bằng chứng ban đầu cho thấy MATSEC-VN là một công cụ có độ tin cậy và giá trị đạt yêu cầu trong việc đánh giá năng lực cảm xúc - xã hội của giáo viên mầm non Việt Nam. Cụ thể, thang đánh giá này có thể trở thành công cụ hữu ích cho các nghiên cứu trong tương lai về sự an lạc của giáo viên mầm non cũng như đánh giá các chương trình học tập cảm xúc - xã hội trong bối cảnh Việt Nam.
