Abstract

This study examines the Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) and its association with cyberbullying victimization among university students in Vietnam, focusing on the University of Da Nang and Tay Nguyen University. The sample included 1534 students, predominantly female (987 students). Participants completed three scales measuring FoMO, the frequency of cyberbullying victimization, and online self-disclosure. The results indicated that students exhibited a moderate level of FoMO, with no significant differences between male and female students. Furthermore, the findings revealed that online self-disclosure mediates the relationship between FoMO and cyberbullying victimization. These insights provide a foundation for developing preventive measures to mitigate the risk of cyberbullying victimization among university students.
